The ABC Unified School District, in partnership with AFSCME and CSEA, is hosting a Classified Employee Professional Learning (CEPL) Day for all permanent and AFSCME & CSEA classified employees on

All sites and department offices will be closed (with few necessary exceptions) on Monday, March 31, 2025, so that all permanent and AFSCME and CSEA Employees may participate in the CEPL Day. March 31 is a student-free day for all students and a non-work day for ABCFT Employees. March 31 is a work day for all management/confidential and classified employees.
We have an exciting day lined up with an opening session to kick off the day with an exciting keynote speaker and our Superintendent. You will also have an opportunity to participate in multiple workshop sessions around a variety of topics. Click for a List of Workshops. You will be asked to select a workshop for each session, please review the list of workshops document for additional information regarding each workshop.*
Registration/Breakfast 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM
Opening Session (Gym) 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
Session 1 9:50 AM - 10:50 AM
Session 2 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Lunch 12:00 PM - 12:50 PM
Session 3 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Session 4 2:10 PM - 3:10 PM
Closing Session (Quad) 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all participants.
The PL Day will be a full day, employees who normally work less than 8 hours/day will be paid their regular hourly pay for hours beyond their normal work hours if they stay for the full day.
*Due to circumstances out of our control, there may be changes to the workshops available on March 31, 2025, however we will do our best to honor your request.
