Elementary school students are assessed for academic progress throughout the year. Teachers use standards-aligned quizzes, tests, and projects to determine student progress towards meeting grade-level standards and to provide instruction; and practice, reteaching, and enrichment activities. Parents are informed of student progress with progress reports, report cards, and a California Assessment and Accountability System of Progress and Performance (CAASPP) Parent Report.
