Reading Olympics

The district-wide elementary Reading Olympics is a friendly student competition that encourages enthusiasm for reading and promotes collaboration through teamwork.

Each school team consists of 4^th, 5^th, and 6^th grade students. The school team may have no more than 14 students: a 12-member team and two alternates. Each team collectively reads all of the 20 books on the official book list. The selected books span a wide range of reading and interest levels.

An award ceremony is held immediately after the competition.  All participants are awarded ribbons.
