ABCUSD is dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive, and welcoming school environment for all students and their families.
 
All schools have access to
  • Credentialed School Counselors and School Psychologists
  • Mental Health Professionals**
  • Credentialed School Nurses
  • Referrals to our Behavior Specialists
  • Referrals to outside agencies that provide mental health, substance use & social service support.  
**Our mental health professionals provide social-emotional learning (SEL) and mental health intervention and prevention services.

CARE SOLACE PARTNERSHIP (Available to all ABCUSD students and their families)

ABCUSD partners with Care Solace, a free and confidential service to connect with Mental Health, Substance Use & Social Service Support. You can access Care Solace services in three ways:

  • Call 888-515-0595 at any time. Multilingual support is available 24/7/365. A dedicated Care Companion will help you every step of the way to research options, secure appointments, and follow up to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Search anonymously to get matched with an extensive list of care providers at caresolace.com/lbusd
  • Contact your school health professional (school counselor, school psychologist, mental health professional, nurse), and they will submit a referral on your behalf.

No matter what you're experiencing, there is hope and help. We are confident that our partnership with Care Solace will help us build a healthier, more vibrant school community.

FREE RESOURCES FROM THE STATE
These resources are provided at no cost to schools, districts, students, or families.They require no referral or insurance and do not collect immigration information.  They provide:
● Live, 1:1 behavioral health coaching sessions via video or secure chat.
● Diverse, bilingual coaches in English and Spanish, with live translation available in 17 Medi-Cal threshold languages.
● On-demand digital tools, activities, and content.
● Care coordination and navigation services.
● Moderated peer communities and forums.
