Holds 17th Annual Parent Leadership Conference

The ABC Unified School District, ABC Council PTA and the ABC Adult School, will host the 17th Annual Parent Leadership Conference on Saturday, March 23, 2012 at the Sheraton Cerritos Hotel. This award winning conference will have more than 350 parents, educators and elected officials representing the cities of Cerritos, Artesia, Hawaiian Gardens and Lakewood.

The ABC School District, ABC Council PTA and the ABC Adult School are committed to promoting strong parent education and parent involvement. The district-wide Parent Leadership Conference is designed to provide a greater opportunity for parents to learn how to support their child’s education.

This year’s conference will offered 10 workshops focusing on a variety of topics for parents. Interpreters for Chinese, Korean and Spanish languages will be available for all workshops in an effort to serve the diverse ethnic community.

Registration for the 17th Annual Parent Leadership Conference will begin in January. Interested parents please contact school principal or ABC Adult School for further information.
