Hispanic-Latino Family Circle and Hispanic-Latino Student Advisory Committee

The Hispanic-Latino Family Circle (HLFC) operates as a Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) to recognize collective voice of Hispanic and Latino parents across ABCUSD. The HLFC elected officers may advise the school board, principals and staff on matters relating to the education of Hispanic-Latino students and families. The HLFC strives to represent the diversity within our Hispanic and Latino communities and contributes to the benefit of all students by:

  • providing opportunities to educate and inform parents about the school programs, services and resources available
  • involving parents in volunteer activities
  • openly discussing parents’ concerns and aspirations for their schools.

Additionally, the HLFC leadership participates in quarterly Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) PAC nights to provide input on district goals and strategies.
