At Hawaiian Elementary, we understand that the key to a thriving educational environment lies in the collective efforts of our dedicated team. Each staff member plays a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for our students. From the moment students enter our campus, we strive to provide a well-rounded experience that encompasses academic growth and personal development.

We are proud to offer a range of specialized programs to enhance your child's learning experience:

AVID: In grades 2nd to 6th, we implement AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), a program designed to equip students with the skills and strategies needed for college and career readiness.

STEM Lab: All students participate in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Our engaging, hands-on STEM curriculum cultivates a passion for inquiry, problem-solving, and innovation.

VAPA Lab: All students participate in our VAPA Lab, exploring and developing creativity through Visual and Performing Arts.

MTSS: We embrace a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) approach to whole-child learning. Our dedicated team of educators and support staff collaborate to address every student's academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.

PBIS: Our PBIS motto is “Hawaiian Eagles SOAR.” S stands for Safe, emphasizing the importance of creating a secure and welcoming environment for all. O represents Ownership, instilling a sense of responsibility and accountability in our students. A symbolizes Achievement, encouraging our students to set ambitious goals and strive for excellence. R stands for Respect, promoting a culture of empathy, understanding, and valuing differences.

The Hawaiian Elementary staff and families will continue to foster a nurturing and enriching environment that promotes academic growth, character development, and lifelong learning.
